thanks! i'm also planning on carrying down, I just haven't decided on exactly which source and kind. Goose? Duck? Fill power? water repellant treatment? cost vs. performance. For example the costco throws that have taken the community by storm is duck down. Duck down is almost 1/2 the price of goose.
