camping approximately a half mile from the cars, but an easy half mile , mostly packed - gotta get groceries tomorrow, then drive down. Its spitting out right now, not much snow, worried about driving thru the snow belt tomorrow, take your time and be safe everyone!

Apple cider was an inspired idea for sure.

Had chili cooking on the crockpot all day, so the house smells amazing. Can't wait to bust that out Saturday.

Looking forward to the chili. Last of the meatballs are done. Waiting for the sauce to cool to bag it. Time to gather the last few things and get a little bit of sleep.

So, if you want to keep dry feet on the hike out you will want to go back the way you came in. Although, you will miss a very scenic hike along Morrison Run
We did the multiple crossings coming back this morning. New waterproof Keens worked great and feet stayed dry!
