So I've got my CBS covered with an Arrowhead New River. It's a great Underquilt an it installed quickly and easily the first time I used it. I backyard tested my setup last weekend down to about 48 F. I used the New River and an old Lafuma Yellowstone 30 degree sleeping bag as a topquilt. I wore boxers and a T shirt and stayed warm all night. I'm having a hard time justifying another camping purchase for what is usually a once a year AT section hike. Next month I am doing Springer Mountain to Neels gap in late November and have some reservations about how warm I can stay around 30 F. I'm looking for advice from all of the members here that have experience camping in these types of conditions. Thanks in advance for your thoughts.
