    I didn't. I merely split the 40" x 5" tube into the aforementioned 40" x 3" and 40" x 2" sections, and then slid them into the blue sleeves.

    I didn't really want to mess with the down since I don't have any fancy shopvac attachment made yet for recovering down, and I knew the mess manually removing and transferring would create.

    How low of temps have you tested this design? I followed your process somewhat. IMO, the faux baffles are a total PITA to make, but the UQ looks fantastic and has lots of loft. Going to test on a few October trips. Last weekend of October may be in the low 30s in western NC.
