    Should I repair?

Just found this 1" burned hole while lounging today in my 11-foot hex on 1.0. I must've burned it while singeing something for my knotty mods. Should I sew it closed? Should I tenacious tape it closed? It is right near the knotty mod so it won't get much force at all considering the shock cord is cinched tight.

I would use super sticky patch tape on both sides. Like tent patch kit. Idk though

Tenacious Tape is a zing stuff. Tape both sides and you should be fine. Make sure to clean both sides with rubbing alcohol so you get a good bond.

Definitely repair. Tape would be easier. Either way it will keep it from growing and becoming a problem.

    Agree on the Tenacious Tape.

Be sure to cut a round or oval patch, NOT one with corners which can peel though!

you could always take a scrape piece of fabric and mend it into your repair like you would a pair of pants. (using free scroll on you thread injector and a med zig zag pattern ) If you used gray thread I will contrast less.

I have made a similar repair using round tenacious types on both sides. I used the end of an aerosol can to cut two identical round patches. I put one on one side then lined up that patch on the underside against the can and folded the fabric down along the sides of the can. This allowed me to line up the other patch to exactly match on the inside.
