Do you guys remove your bug net in fall/winter?

I’d bet that it cuts it like you said, but I remove mine. I diy all of my gear and find my quilts to be plenty. I just don’t need the extra 6 oz.

I leave mine on. I enjoy the enclosed feel. After being in a tent for so long, maybe it just feels natural to me to zip up for the night.

I think you really hit the nail on the head here. IMHO a full bug net is more of a psychological comfort than anything: there's a strong desire in the back of my brain to be enclosed and feel safe. We're all just used to living in homes

I switch over to a netless Dutch hammock in cooler weather.I tried a Fronkey net but found it inconvenient for using the hammock as a lounger/chair mode.Any ideas? I also have a hammock with zipper net and my trusty old HH Expedition bottom entry.Being slightly claustrophobic I do prefer netless when able.
