New From Twin Tiers/Northern PA

I will be spending a lot of time in the Allegheny National Forest and the Allegheny State Park. I have hiked in the past, such as Mt Marcy and Loyalsock Trail. I do not won a hammock at this point, but will have one soon enough.

Going more inexpensive at first.

welcome from nwpa, big fan of the ANF, watch for group hangs, we seem to be getting one in every few months. You might not be ready for cold weather hammocking but there is talk of a hang in December or January right now. My 1st time in a hammock was a borrowed one last February at a group hang in the ANF!

Welcome to the forum from the southern tier of NY. We are basically neighbors. I frequent different sections of the Finger lakes trail, and hope to get to ANF soon. Perhaps I will see you on the trail!
