    Warbonnet RidgeRunner Ridgeline Mod

For those with a Warbonnet RidgeRunner, I've attached a picture that details a simple (effective!) mod to get the head end ridgeline up nice and snug to provide maximum space when using a Spindrift sock-- without having to climb the tree well above the hammock straps. Since the 2 foot carbon pole is attached inline with the elastic bungee line it just kind of goes with the flow, stays up, and remains snug throughout the night.

Welcome to Hammock Forums. That text in the pic is really hard to make out. Do you have a larger pic you can attach? Nice idea though.

I attached the image using the 'Insert Image' option when posting. Somehow it got compressed somewhere along the way...
Am I missing something, in plain sight no less?

In the meantime, try this link for the full resolution:

Great idea! Thank you! I could see using a stick found on the ground. A little whittling, a couple of bandaids, and I could easily make a couple.

I just connect the spindrift bungie tie out to the tieout ring on the ridgeline of my tarp. I have to make the spindrift tieout bungie pretty short but when I get in the ridgerunner it pulls the spindrift ridgeline up nicely.

I am missing something, why the extra fiddle. I hook the bungie through the loops on the spindrift, then hang the spindrift, everything works well together, net is off my face, no problems. pretty much what WVwanderer does. Tinny has a video Spindrift Review Update, in it he explains how to manage the spindrift.
