Alright, I think I've been over thinking this snap thing. The sleeves pull over the whole thing, which might be a better solution and likely what he envisioned. Sometimes I can be a little slow

Look how flat that v.2.0 lays Mine did not have the snaps, but since it was a proto type v.2.0 I didn't think anything of it. I do like them and will need to add them because I have had the sleeves ride up the cords and do not want a rat's nest of cordage. I even experimented with taking the individual sleeved sides and doing an overhand knot to keep each side separate and sleeved. Probably best to just add the missing snap half, eh?
The rack looks like it could employ some angle bracing to keep it solid and stable?

Have any of you been able to rig an UQ under the Gamma? I'm going to try and figure something out, but I thought I'd see what you came up with first. It might save me some time.

I spent quite some time trying to see if my FL UQ would fit and there was no way no matter how much shock cord I used. Maybe a 3/4 would work, but I doubt it.
But for the grace of God, there, I go...
I've got a Loco Libre Ridge Reaper 30° underquilt ordered, however I won't have it until around first of December. My thoughts are to utilize it with my Exped Synmat 7 UL LW when the conditions warrant it. I find the Exped to be reasonably low weight and it adds structure to the hammock. For me, it is sufficient insulation by itself down to 35°F. I'm hoping that 1) I can rig the UQ to work and 2) that the combined insulation of the mattress and UQ will insulate me down to 10°. I just arbitrarily picked the 30° UQ mainly based on size/weight. I'll post my findings when I have played with it, and pics if successful.
