I agree, this would help put some suspicion to rest and remove questioning.

It's also such a simple thing to ask a business any question you want. If they do not respond to you or won't respond to you, blast them on twitter and move on!

Just as an FYI, HG does send their quilts out with both a storage and a stuff sack. If you received and HG product without either, you may wish to contact them to rectify that.

Not affiliated with them and not interested in arguing, just, threads like this can have an impact on new quilt'ers using the search function. Having owned quilts from both companies, the quality of construction and customer service received from both is fantastic and the differences are very minor personal preference things. I don't currently own an EE quilt but IMO their revelation has the best adjustable footbox closure on the market and when I have money to buy a mild weather quilt set again, I'm planning to get one of those.

Thank you for the tip. I really did not know this. Perhaps it was their honest mistake. I will contact them to see if I can get the storage sacks. They have the best customer services! They allowed me to upgrade from a Phoenix 20 degree to an Incubator 0 degree 1 year later after I told them that the Phoenix was too cold and that I had only use the Phoenix once. Imagine that!!! Their customer service is top notch. I just wish that they put something on their website stating that they don't source their down from irresponsible vendors. If so, I would buy from them in a heart beat.

As a EE Revelation (20 and 40 degree) and an EE Enigma 0 degree, I can honestly say my 1st, 2nd and 3rd impression of Tim's products is a positive one. The quality is excellent, they've all performed well below the rated temperature. Build time was about standard (4-8 weeks for mine), which is about par for the course for cottage vendors. Enjoy your new quilt!
This thread is mainly about EE Revelation. However, I found that the topic on "Life Down Plucking" much more important and that is why I started a new thread. It is a shame that the other thread has now been closed. I have so much to say.

This thread is about EE. If the off topic down discussion continue I will delete responses from this thread. Let's get it back on the EE topic. If you wish to discuss down and how it is ethical or not, take it to the Donating member area.
