    Gearbox weight limit.

What is the weight limit for items placed in the Geabox? Is this determined more by the limits of the sylNylon or the zing-it whoopies?

I would expect I could increase the limit by using Amstel whoopies but I don't want to break the sylNylon.

    Thanks.

I've had about 30 lbs or so in mine easily with no problems. space is more a limiting factor than weight on these i think. great item though. love mine!

how much weight you carrying? It'll hold all your stuff just fine. If I'm car camping with heavy stuff, I use my truck as the gear box.

30 pounds should do it when car camping. I'll have less when backpacking, but wanted to use the same lash-it whoopies for both situations. Thanks for the post.

It will hold more than 30 pounds. I bet you could use it for a hammock chair!
