    Designers Wanted - OutdoorINK

Turning creativity into outdoor gear. You do it each time you dream up a new DIY project. Our vendors do it when they think up a new product. Whether you realize it or not, there's a LOT of creativity floating around.

OutdoorINK isn't about us or what we think is cool. The real power lies in the creativity of the community.

To that end, we're excited to announce a Call for Designers with OutdoorINK. The video we posted above gives the basic details, but to summarize, we're creating a platform for you to upload your art and have it available for others to purchase right on the site.

In addition to being a creative and fun way to see your ideas/art turned into outdoor fabric and ultimately pieces of outdoor gear, you'll also be paid a 10% commission on every yard sold . Design a new camo pattern, polka dots, tie-dye, plaid, you name it. If it doesn't exist and you want it - CREATE IT.

Once your first design is approved, you'll be given:

    1. Your own personal collection on the site similar to this one for designer Tacblades: https://ripstopbytheroll.com/collect...gner-tacblades. You can even add a description or little bio to personalize your design style and connect with users.

    2. Monthly updates on your pattern sales plus commission payouts.

    3. Tips on promoting your patterns so that others see what you have to offer.

We're in the process of making some changes to the website to make this process automated and easy for everyone, but we figured it's OK to start basic. With that being said, we are only accepting a LIMITED number of designers in this first month until we get things more streamlined. If you want to get in, please act quickly.

For detailed info on how to get started, check out our designer requirements HERE.

We're excited to get this going and see where it leads. Let's make some stuff .

    Thanks
    - Kyle

Really amazing seeing this come into reality. There's no way life will allow me time to jump into this for a while, but I'm looking forward to seeing the process evolve.
I'll keep any ideas on the back burner for now and hopefully take part sometime. In the meantime, I'll keep up the "funding" on my end as new items and designs are released

Congrats to you and the crew for pulling this off!

I'm in. Design work is what I do professionally, and I've been toying with a few ideas that I think might be interesting OutdoorINK patterns for hammock projects. When they're ready, I'd love to submit them to you for your consideration.

Way to push the envelope, Kyle! Talk about breaking new ground.
"We are the greatest bulldozers to walk erect. Will we ever permit Mother Nature–truly our mother–to do her thing, undisturbed and unmarred? Will we ever be content to play a passively observant role in the universe, and leave off this unceasing activity? I do not wish man in control of the universe. I wish nature in control, and man playing only his just role as one of its inhabitants."
