Hello, I live in Erie County, close to Warren County. I'm looking for some people to hang with. Anyone in my area?

I live in Erie County close to Niagara County. I'd hopefully be up for a hang in the spring. I'll be down this winter. 😞

There are a bunch of hangers from NW PA and WNY. ConqueringFool and Pennsy are up that way. They organized a group hang last winter that I hope they'll do again. I'm looking to organize one south of Rochester in January/February. It would be a commute for you but probably worth it. I'm down in PA all the time, I did the West Rim and Black Forest Trails this past summer. I'm in ANF all the time, too. Hickory Creek Trail, that area.

Ah.. I was just thinking about putting a thread up for a December hang in the ANF. NY in Jan/Feb sounds good too. Man I cant wait for some snow.

Yep yep, I'm in Erie

welcome to the forum, there are a good number of us here in Western PA, and quite a few within 30 minutes or so of Corry. Keep an eye out for a group hang and join us.

Also, tell us a little about yourself, gear and experience.

I am from Erie as well. Right on the New York border. ANF is my usual haunt but I kayak french creek quite often too.
