I don't see why a vendor in this day and age of portable communication cannot keep in touch with a customer that's all i am saying. I don't have a problem with legitimate delays as long as it's being communicated.

Untrue....I am still waiting and have had no confirmation email either.
But.....as it is a small company if they are on the computer answering and answering then they ain't sewing and stuffing and labeling mailing boxes.
I fully expect to hear nothing most of the time or even be certain about projected shipping times with small vendors. I have never not gotten my orders with the quality I wanted.

+1. I have no doubt that my Wooki will arrive when it's ready. Like Shug, I'm not going to pester them and cut into sewing time.

UQ going right now puts it in a big box store for less you'll pass them by to stick with some other cottage vender's? You can now walk in buy that quilt and go on your trip you'd rather order on line and hope it arrives in time. And believe me I am definitely pulling for Warbonnet I bought from them several times and no real problems. When I ordered my Wooki lead time was 1to2 wks, than 2 to3 weeks took almost 4 but I'm so happy with the product none of that matters.

You're completely right! I didn't mean I'd never buy big box. I still use a SnugPak Under Blanket, which is as Big Box retail as you can get! What I should've said is that I won't cheat myself out of a better product (abundant from cottage vendors here) to go to a more commercial product simply because I can get it more quickly. I have nothing against big box...except that by and large it doesn't meet the standards set by our very innovative community here on HF! When I can't afford better, I'm fine with a more commercial substitute (like my SP Under Blanket I was able to buy for around $35 quite a while back. It has served me well. It was so much cheaper than anything I could've gotten here. It wasn't the best, but it was a WHOLE LOT better than the CCF pad it replaced, while I saved up towards a LocoLibre underquilt! While I was squirreling money back, though, the Wookies were introduced, so that's what I'm in line for, instead!)

If WB went full on Big Box, I'd happily buy them for less with quicker mass produced delivery. Didn't mean to sound like I'm for them because they are a cottage industry. I'm for them because they are a fantastic product, where ever they are being sold...but, I DO appreciate the excellent customer service Brandon has always provided me and it IS a perk that I "know" who I'm buying from rather than some faceless, nameless conglomerate!

Once again I agree but I do think it's time the Mods put this horse in the barn! Good points on both sides.
