I am glad hear that. I have a Exped SynMat 7 on the way. I tend to sleep warm.

I've always had my exped 9 LW and it works wonderfully, tried my wife's Q-core and it worked, but something was off with it. Not sure what it was, maybe thicker is better? When I put my exped in there's no room and I do end up stuffing an inch or so into the zipper. The Q-core didn't do that. Eyeballing it the Q-core looks almost half as thin with the cross hatching vs the long stable baffles of the exped.

Ditto - although I'm a cold sleeper and worried the 7 would be not warm enough - time will tell - gotta wait till it gets cold here in Bama to see

I have the REI Stratus, 2.9R and have been to 30 degrees only with a slight chill. I haven't used my downmat 9 yet in the Amok but it was VERY warm in my RR w/ the spindrift. In the summer I feel like the Amok is too hot even with the Stratus The key to the Amok is pads with the long tubes for sure.
