    Amok Draumr 3.0 question

Ok so just got my Amok in the other day and tried it last night. It seems like I have to have my pad fully inflated or the hammock has a tendency to fold in the waist line area. I have a big agnes lw air core. I ordered the exped 7 last night to try that. If I put my hand under the hammock when laying in it. I can feel there is a tight Ridge thay runs across almost like my weight isnt being evenly distributed. I am 5'11 and 230 lbs. Has anyone ever had this problem.

Check that your interior straps are correct. Mine came with one pair swapped front-to-back...

I have the BA Q-core and it does the same thing...unless I fully inflate. Getting ready to order an Exped 7 also to see how that does.

There is a definite difference in the length of the strap pairs, front and back. The ones that the head and should be the shorter pair.
Also check to make sure if that they weren't installed with a twist in the whole strap assembly.

However, from others experience with the Agnès, I suspect the problem is specific to that pad

I have that exact pad and never experienced any of these problems and I played with the inflation till I was totally comfortable. So I can't believe it's the pad. By the way my BA Air Core is 25x78x3.5

In mine right now. Try pulling your head end straps in a wee bit to raise your torso slightly. Might help find the sweet spot.

I use an EXPED Downmat 9 LW. I have to let some air out to make the pad comfortable. I think the Big Agnes is hit and miss with it. I sweat it out in that thing every time unless it is cold enough for snow! I would get a lower R-value next time.
