Miniature Hammock for sitting

Sitting hammock could double as gear shelf if you hang it under your sleeping hammock, which could be handy.

I hike with a little velcro strap to make my gathered end hammock into a chair - hang hammock with a little extra sag, sit with legs straddled over hammock on either side, velcro strap goes around the hammock in front of you about chest height, then lay back into super comfy recliner.

These hammock chairs are so easy ti diy, just grab 2 yards of fabric, hem the edges and whip the ends, Done.!

I have a decender ring that i use on my hammock to fold it in half to be used as a chair. The decender ring has a cl larksheaded on it and i use my regular hammock suspension to set it all up. You could probably use only a cl to cut out the 11 grams but i feel like the dr doesnt rough up the fabric as much as a cl does. Multipurpose is the name of the game. I forget which forum member came up with it but it works great.

Yup, that's just what mine look like, my wife diy'ed 2 of these awhile back when she had the time for sewing and i will be taking them to the upcoming Mahha hang but with the large amount of hangers signed up this year the extra trees may be hard to find and i may have to rely on the ole camping chair.
