This weekend I got out to Zaleski State Forest in Ohio for a good two-night trip. The trail is 29.5 miles for the complete loop of the entire Backpack Trail. This is the first of 3 videos from the trip, and it covers day 1, some gear talk, what's in my bag, and a Packit Gourmet review.
The weather this weekend was beautiful. I found myself in Dayton, OH on a business trip, with no plans, so I took my backpack along. After meetings wrapped up on Friday, I drove the 2 hours to Zaleski and started my weekend on the trail. The trail is great, if you ever find yourself in OH with nothing to do, check it out. Well marked, and mostly well maintained. You can tell where the majority of the people travel, hint, it's not the North Loop!
Anyway, enjoy the video, and let me know what you think!
