I'll be interested in hearing how it goes. The design makes sense. Except I'm a shorter guy and it seems like I'd be paying for and carrying around a bit of extra unnecessary down. I keep hoping that Bonefire starts producing full-time. The design of the Whisper intrigues me, as well.

As i stated in another thread no more bungy squeeze at the shoulder i'm very interested. Only question for Brandon is can it be vented my thoughts are added a bungy on the head end with a lock to adjust the tension or low the quilt in the hot months.

Yes just a little piece of bungee to hang the quilt a few inches lower to allow air to move in.

venting the Wookie should not be an issue for me as I went with the Winter Wookie and thus only plan to use it when it is....cold.

Congrats on your purchase. I think you'll definitely have to head north to test the quilts. Texas probably won't cut it.

Here in Jersey, my 0* quilts rarely get tested. I'm a strict proponent of the 10* buffer rule, meaning I like my quilt ratings to be 10* higher than the expected lows. The lowest temperature I ever hung in was -3* F, and I certainly didn't go with my 0* quilts alone (that would violate the 10* buffer rule). I also stacked my 20* quilts to make sure there was no chance of getting cold.

If I had your quilts, I'd use the 40* + 2 oz. (which is a 30*) down to 40*, then below that I'd use the 0* stuff. And if it gets below 10* F, stack 'em!

Yeah for Texas winters I knew I could definitely get by with a 20* set. I went Zero just to have a bit of cushion for when I travel. I have a December trip to the Smokies coming up...should be able to get a good test in then...

Interested in the Wooki and how it works. Go to Colorado in November and let me know. I'm hoping to get a winter Wooki for XMAS. Recently ordered my Ghost Pepper 0* and waiting patiently for it. I know it's going to be awhile.
