For this application is adjustable loop necessary or could you just make a continuos loop using the back spliced knot and larks head to the strap?
Am I asking same thing you answered earlier?
I still don't see where the adjustable loop comes in?

Fantastic! I saw your improved soft shackle video the other day, and wondered if it was possible to make a grapplers hitch in that style!
