    Is there something that can be done about the bear feeding? Why would they feed them in the first place? Is it to hunt them?

    It is ILLEGAL to feed bears in WI for that very reason. You should report it. People like that need to get caught!

    The individual that started feeding the black bears has moved to town. Two other people are said to have taken his place but you would have to trespass in order to find out. They are advocates of Lynn Rogers out of Ely, MN.

    Wow! I had no idea, I suppose I should have guessed, that this exists. It's the biological application of the Heisenberg principle. It's not possible to study migration and food availability effects when feeding the subjects (or cuddling with them). Lynn treating wild subjects as laboratory. It's unethical.
