The final dog net is in the mail being delivered today. As soon as the wet nasty weather and mud gives me a break her in MN, I will post a video review of the system and features of the net for you all to see. Rick has a little list going for this unit already so it seems very popular!

Wet nasty weather sounds like a perfect way to test that new tarp!

True! Maybe i can do a montage of both sunny weather video and terrible wet weather and get in storm mode.

I'm thinking my dog would enjoy this. Really looking forward to a video review.

I made a net tent for mine that ties off to the same trees I'm on. Of course mine weighs 11lbs, and he always ends up in my hammock, so I only tried the net tent once!

Okay, so I'm waiting on my order from Dutch to finalize the full setup for a video review.. I want to get it all perfect to show how great it is. but here is a teaser of my hang this morning. This netting is fabulous. It is well made, good dimensions, good materials. While the netting ins not necessary now in MN with the cold, it is still awesome for keeping my pup close and don't have to worry about tying him up. He loves it in there!!

Contact Rick at Cave Creek Hammocks if you are interested. Otherwise wait for my video review coming sometime hopefully next week.

I like the extra height of your flooring, any way of getting one with the flooring another 6in higher. That's the one thing that I would change from the one I have. As it gets colder I would like to have them blocked from the winds a bit more..

Yes I like the added height of the tub. I'm sure that Rick could do a custom job on this to make the sides higher. PM me if you are interested and I will give you his contact info. He is great to chat with to discuss your needs.

You will see when I get the tarp up, that it will almost be fully wind proof, minus maybe a couple inches between the bottom of the tarp and top of tub bottom, which if you order a custom one, could maybe get and extra 6 inches like you said and it would eliminate that wind.

I can't wait to get it all setup once my dutch gear comes in for the shock cord I need and extra cordage.

Snydman, I made the walls as tall as possible while keeping the floor a single piece with no seams. Going taller would work, would just require a seam (could be sealed/taped) or use a lighter windproof fabric section before transitioning to the bugnet (say argon or a calendared 1.1 ripstop which would be lighter and more packable than the floor fabric. Just some thoughts. Feel free to message me if you have any questions.
    Rick
