    Correct. There's no need to, but I find its a easy way to handle the extra length & keep the straps from laying in the dirt. Otherwise, I'll bundle up the excess with a hair tie.

    ===> I (and now my family) have been using the aluminum Gen1 Dutch Clips since they became available years ago. But, we use them exactly as suggested in this video, and have never had an issue. We do have the Ti oval clips to go to if the originals ever fail, but I believe that set properly, they should last forever! Thanks Dutch, for all you do for us! Hope to see you again at another hang soon!

    Thanks Dutch. This video brought me down to tears. If only I'd seen this video 20 years ago.. some innocent people would be alive today.
