Fall is arriving soon and I have begun seeing a little yellowing of a few trees here and there. Hopefully the last brutal heat wave of summer has past and we will have some nice, cool autumn days, beautiful fall colors and crisp evenings, just beckoning for hammocks and campfires out in the pinny, pinny woods. So who is up for some HammOktoberFest fun? When? and Where? So what do you all say? Let’s get out and sleep Above Ground Ohio (AGO) and have a Happy Hang-o-ween this fall!

Sounds like a great time. I haven't been on a group outing since winter. Im heading to Zaleski on Friday for the weekend. Count me in for the October fun.

I am open to any location ideas, I have only been to Mohican and Zaleski for over nights and something new would be good, but Mohican is so covenant compared to other locations.
As of now my up coming weekend schedule is looking like;

9/31 - Maybe
10/7 - Good
10/14 - Bad
10/21 - Maybe
10/28 - Good

Diz, I would but im already meeting a friend at Zaleski going yo explore the Moonville Tunnel. As far as somewhere new for an overnighter how far is everyone willing to go?

I've been lurking around these Ohio trips for awhile now, and really need to make it to a hang with you guys. In October I will only be available the weekend of the 21st. If that was to workout, I'm a definite. As far as location, I've been all over the state except for Mohican, so that would be a welcomed location, but I'm up for anything. Thanks for getting this going Diz

Turns out my little sisters want me to meet them in NYC on the weekend of the 21st, so I won't be able to make that weekend. I'll post a summary of available dates tomorrow.

BTW, Diz and I want to make sure it's understood that while we use these threads to get a monthly hang with the most folks possible, this is also a great place to setup alternate hangs. If you want to get out and you see someone whose available, speak up! If we don't hang together, we shall surely hang alone...and that's cool, too!
