    HG Burrow show and tell

Here are some pics of my new Hammock Gear Burrow 20 degree topquilt. This is a standard length, standard width, standard fill 20 degree quilt. The outside is woodland camo and the inside is moss green. It came with a stuff sack and a cotton storage sack. This is my first quilt and my first bit of down insulation. I'm impressed by the weight and the compress-ability! I am 5'11" and weigh 170 lbs and the quilt seems to fit perfectly. I will be using this in my WBBB XLC with a Wooki that is on the way. I've got a trip planned for October on the Foothills Trail with three friends. Can't wait to try everything out!

I just opened mine up from HG last night. Love the cotton storage bag. Such a perk to have it included. Will try to get pics together, but the only place in my house without dogs, is my bedroom.....so pics may wait till i'm out in the woods. Or maybe the basement.

But i got the 20* with 4 oz of over stuffing. The main reason is this will belong to wife mainly. Outside i got in Black and inside is Burnt Orange. The detail is freaking awesome.
When the wife asks, I simply say "Shug made me do it".

Yeah, everything I've read about HG stuff says the details are top notch and they are. Everything everybody says is true. I would definitely recommend them to friends and would buy from them again.

I received my HG Burrow 20 Degree about a month ago but haven't used it outside yet because it has been so hot.

I ordered a brick red exterior, coal gray interior, in the long version. I also got a sewn foot box with 2 extra ounces of insulation.

I really like the long version in testing it around the house as I can pull it up over my head (I'm 5' 10") and snap it closed or just pull the extra length to the back of my head for a pillow.

Can't wait for it to get colder so I can test it out.

I call her "The Tamale Caliente".

Nice! It's definitely too hot here also. I'm hoping for cooler temps come October in some higher elevations.

I have three Hammock Gear quilts (Burrow 40, Phoenix 40, Incubator 20+2). They are by far the nicest pieces of equipment I own, and durable. I ordered the 40 degree quilts with the 90 weight material for added durability too. It's still very light, but I feel much less nervous about constantly using them (i.e. on the couch near my dogs).
The ground is hard, and full of rocks...
