    Hanging under the Tentsile

Finally got around to giving it a try....works well actually. Be a nice place to chill if it were raining as there plenty of coverage from the rain fly above.

What ever works is good enough. I wonder how it would work in the wind though?

It was fairly breezy last night but not raining. It was certainly comfy for kicking back. We slept in the tent above of course....my son loves to sleep in his hammock but prefers the "tree tent" whenever practical. That way we can be together and talk and such....he's only eight and we are really good pals.

Interestingly, the Tentsile itself is quite stable. There's a little vertical give but not a whole lot even when tethered out close to the max.

Underneath is just a fun place to hang, especially for my kids. We could get two hammocks under it, no problem, and maybe even a third with a bit of fiddling.
