Adjustable Ridgeline through Sewn on Bugnet

Can someone please tell me/show me how to get an adjustable ridgeline on my hammock that has a sewn on bugnet? I was thinking of using grommets, but wasn't for sure what the best method would be?

I've thought about that dilemma, too. Yea, maybe small grommets just big enough for the amsteel to slide through, but not let mosquitos in.

I just plan on upgrading my hammock.

This is what I followed. I did mine a little different but same results. I just have an adjustable ridgeline.

Be careful that the adjustment cannot get so long that the bug net becomes tensioned instead of the ridge line. My brother in law ripped his netting when his line extended too far and the netting held all the stress.

Here is a good video of just what you are wanting to do. Make adjustments for you particular hammock. This should get you started. This is part one of 3 parts.
