Open Apology to O&B

I would like to sincerely apologize to O&B for my tirades. I reacted poorly to a perceived slight in an attempt to address what I see as a disturbing trend. Because of that my point was lost. I should've handled it the way dakotaross did in post #96 of the thread. Thank you for that dakotaross and thanks for the PM. I don't know if I reacted the way I did because it was a “straw that broke the camel's back” or “the death of a thousand cuts” kind of thing or what. It is out of character for me and I can offer no explanation for my behavior other than I'm human and I make mistakes. And I will offer no excuses. There simply aren't any that would suffice. I thought I was old enough and wise enough to be above such behavior but clearly I'm not. I am old enough and wise enough to take responisibility for it, learn from it and accept any consequences that behavior may cost me.

Again, I sincerely apologize to O&B and hope that he can find it in his heart to forgive me. And I also apologize to the rest of the community for injecting chaos and conflict into a place that should be a sanctuary from such things. I hope that you can forgive me as well.

Sometimes a little chaos now and then makes us all appreciate HF a little more. It makes all of us think and reflect back on what brought us all here. Come up to Michigan, join us on a group hang and share some time around the campfire.
