I emailed them in the beginning of August about a custom Phoenix and Harry responded in two or three days. I agree on giving them a ring if you have not heard anything.
I wanted a long or Phoenix 40, or Phincubator, as I am fairly tall and usually use a long Incubator. I was looking for coverage from my neck to mid calf. They made me a 60 inch Phoenix and it turned out perfectly. I have used it on two trips, three nights, in the past three weeks and it has been great.
Have you looked at the short Incubator (73 inch)? It should be about perfect if you want to head to toe coverage. While a long Phoenix might give you the coverage it will not give you much wiggle room. IMHO you want to make sure the baffles at the end of the quilt are beyond your head and past your feet if you are looking to get into the lower temperatures and stay nice and warm.
Very happy with my HG quilts.
Thanks guys. I will wait until Monday and call them...enough time for me to actually sleep in my hammock and make sure it is for. I am 65" tall and very slender so figured that a 66" "Phincubator"...great name...should be perfect length for me, covering head to toe and sleeping on the diagonal. I always wear a thick pair of socks and a fuzzy beanie so even if I slip one way or the other I should be mostly covered. I also curl up a little at night. I don't ever plan on sleeping in anything below 20F (but I want some over-fill)...I'm a wuss and not a winter camper. 20F is only on the lower end because even in August Wyoming mountains can see sub-freezing temperatures over night.
I have e-mailed them several times over the years; I think one or two e-mails were lost in the very beginning. But in the recent years I usually got lightning fast responses - sometimes only an hour or two after mailing. But with the move they might lag a bit behind.
I sent H G an email with a question, same day reply.
I later changed the color on an order last second, no problem and next day response.
I have we had nothing but excellent service from H G.
Not to mention the quality of their products.
My Burrow is my favorite piece of equipment.

You need an incubator short. It's a standard option.
I have had nothing but amazing service from HG. Before ordering my CF Tarp I emailed to determine if they could have it built and to me in time for an upcoming trip, they were able to accommodate me. After receiving the tarp I realized I really wanted to use it with one of their new single Snake Skins, so I sent another email asking about lead times on those. Harry assured me they could have one made and out to me the next day, and they did! I can't say enough good things about the workmanship and the customer service I've experienced. I have also ordered a Burrow and Phoenix from them, both of which I waited quite a while to receive. Sometimes their lead times are long, but that goes with all the cottage vendors. When you can afford to wait, wait. When you have a real need for something sooner, email, call, talk with them, they are awesome to work with and very accommodating! Next up for me is a 20deg Short Incubator.
3" each end wiggle room isn't as much as you think. Will require much less fiddle factor for barely zero weight difference. Good luck.
