Yea I've been weighing my gear lately too. No so much with the intent to reduce weight, but more just to be aware of where my heavies gear resides.
Check out gear grams website if you haven't found it already. Has a searchable database for known items and allows you to create a personal database of your own gear. It's free too.

I would rather be in the woods... my dog would rather be in the pool. My wife thinks we are both nuts.
I really like lighterpack.com compared to gear grams. YMMV
Much as I would like to lighten my pack (current 13ishlb BW) I could actually only do that with a summer-weight quilt and pad, neither of which would be enough in the mountains where I spend so much time, except on occasion when a 40* quilt with an low-insulated pad would be enough...and that's not enough to get me to drop the cash on something I might use twice a year, especially since I am trying to get into hammocking and need a good UQ and tarp while trying to keep my BW the same.
Everything else is the minimum of what I want to carry and I can't really get away with not carrying any of it for most trips.
thx everyone, I'll check out those websites. My intention was mostly to compare what we've got when we look at new gear (tarps, UQs, clothes, etc). I haven't gotten to everything yet, but I'm already at 24.5 pounds, lol I know I can save a couple in my tarp (kelty 12 with carabiners and paracord ouch), sleeping bag and UQ.

I used to use my gram scale extensively during my cycling days. I never thought I'd be using it again weighing hammock and cooking gear.....
Your wallet may take a hit soon once you start trying to get that weight down.
