Closer to "-mick" than "-muck" but somewhere in between.
Linguistically, what I think you are exploring is called regional vocalic shift, FWIW...

Nothin' better than eatin' a sammich in a hammick.

I call them hangmat, but then again that's probably because I speak Flemish (aka different Dutch) instead of English :-P
Just realized that I use both, and that it varies depending on who I'm talking to. I give lots of formal presentations (not about hammocks), and I seem to have picked up the knack of changing my speech on the fly. If I am with relatives I say hammick, just like I say boooooat instead of boat (Wisconsin upbringing).
Hammocking is nothing to mock!
It's HAM-MICK!!!!!!!
Hammock or Hammick?
How do you say it?
Hammock Or Hamek?
Somewhere between hammuck and hammick here; I've lived in New England, Florida, and currently Pennsylvania, so I have no regional accent to speak of.
After questioning my wife about my generalized lingo of the word hammock, we have come to the conclusion that I use " ham-mick " most often, unless I'm speaking hillbilly then it's " hammy ".
