    Cal. Central Valley checking in!

    Hi everyone,

I've been in California for around 5 years now and spend much of my hang time in Yosemite/Northern Inyo/Ansel Adams/Sequoia forests. I'm fairly new to hammock camping and was introduced to HammockForums via Shug's YouTube channel around a year ago- Wish I could shake this guy's hand!

My name's Collin, almost into my third decade around our Sun. Grew up mostly in the humid flat-lands of FL and eventually made my way out to the left-coast best-coast! Married with one child, my 1 yr old Aussie whom participates more often in my camping adventures than the former.

Glad to be apart of the community. I'll do my best to share my part of the world and experiences!

    Cheers

Welcome from Southern Ca. I try to get up to the Serrias often as well. Love Inyo as my two pups love to get on the trail as well. There is a Southern Ca Facebook page for some local activity at https://www.facebook.com/groups/1703112183238178/

    Happy hanging

I'm in Yosemite. Been here for over a year now. Holler when you're up this way!

Modesto resident here. Though over a month late with this, welcome to HF. I can basically "blame" Shug for me being here as well. I've been backpacking in Stanislaus National Forest for the last couple of years, but I just started hammock camping up there as of this past summer. Usually in Carson-Iceberg Wilderness.
