Look what I found at Target

I found this in the dollar area up front for $3. Looks like a perfect ridge line light to me. It uses 2 AA's, not the lithium button cells.

Let us know how they work. I find myself too lazy to string lights after a hike but I love the pics where guys have done this.

The package says "indoor use only". Why do you think they insist that is on the front of the packaging? Why not use them outside?

    because the wiring isn't waterproof.

They should work fine under a tarp if it's raining. The issue with these are they aren't designed to be coiled and uncoiled very often and tend to break. These are more geared toward putting in a jar for the pretty look and left along but hey at $3 let us know how you like them.

Dutch's ridgeline lights are $8. It's the cost difference of a big mac and small fry.

Funny. I would "like" your comment if I could.

I think they will do just fine for $3.00, just keep them high and dry!

I'm a huge Dutch fan/customer but these can be purchased instantly (although Dutch delivers Jimmy Johns fast) and why not give them a try so the rest of us would know if these are a viable option.
