Spreader Bar Bumpers on Dutch Double Whoopie Hooks?

I am thinking of picking up some double whoopies hooks and a spreader bar from Dutch. Has anyone tried using the bumpers on the Hooks? I have no idea what size they are comparatively. I would like for the reassurance under the tarp if I start duel hanging... Also I am really excited Paul is bringing back the dog lease (I still use the one daily that he made many years ago out of webbing), oh and I may have to pick up some gaiters as well...

What bumpers are you looking into?? I wasn't aware Arrowhead sells bumpers for bridges?? Having just completed my first DIY bridge this interests me.

I think the hooks would definitely be too small for this application of these bumpers without some modification to them (the bumpers).

Here is the AHE link if you hadn't already stumbled across it:

I too had finished up my first diy bridge recently. I had ordered some of the AHE bumpers a while back expecting that I would eventually end up with a bridge of some sort. On my build I used Dutch's bridge ends and they're designed a little different than what these bumpers are designed for. The Dutch bridge ends have the lower "antennae" designed for quilt attachment. The bumpers in their original state would cover this attachment point. They do fit though. Still debating on whether or not I should try to alter these to work for my specific needs, or leave them whole with perhaps an eventual WBRR purchase (which uses suspension ends that these were designed for).

Hopefully I haven't misspoken anywhere about their design and my apologies to Paul if I may have.

Thanks for the link. Now I remember seeing them! I should probably order a couple sets. Got another bridge build in the works......

Let me warn you guys when you heat these DO NOT apply very much heat at all as they will split. Ask me how I know. The next time I will use a hair dryer and a spot of crazy glue.
