    DIY Silnet help

I'm currently putting together a tarp with Xenon .9 with Xenon 5300 reinforcement patches. Because of the low denier fabric, I was going to try to put it together via Kyle at RBTR's instructions on bonding the reinforcement to the corners and ridge line.

After a prototype corner out of scrap material, I found the two swatches would peel apart if under enough pressure.

This may be due to the fact that I'm using 50/50 GE Silicone II Caulk and Mineral Spirits in lieu of actual Silnet.

Does the recipe I'm using look familiar to what people usually use? If not, is there another way I can bond them together without having to buy Silnet (I would have to buy a lot)?

Use undiluted silicone. Spread it on the tarp with a credit card (pro tip: don't use a *current* credit card), apply the patch, then squeegy it down with the card, scrape off excess silicone before it cures.
