Hi all,

Sorry I haven't been around much of late, but life's full of curve balls. Anyway, it's time to make amends. Anyone up for another frolic in the Park? Maybe do a group stew or two (Chow'da, Goulash, French Canadian Pea Soup)?

When: Oct 14-16, 2016? (updated)
Where: One of Ralph Bice, Tom Thomson, Burnt Island, Big Porcupine

If you have a date preference just chime in. Seems like most of us are paddling solo these days, but we'll see what we can do about teaming people up if necessary. Note fishing season ends Sept 30, so this'll likely be a hook-free outing.

There's a possibility I can go for one night if it's on the Oct 7-9 weekend.

Edit: Darn it, can't make either weekend.

I am definitely up for Oct 7-9.
Unfortunately the other w/e is out.

I'm in for the first weekend in October.
If I went thanksgiving weekend there would be domestic grief !

I think if I was going to be able to make it it would be the original weekend (I'm on holidays that week), possibly Thanksgiving weekend or Oct. 21, 22, 23, 24. I'm pretty sure I'll be there the week of my holidays anyway.

Big Porcupine is the one with the not very nice portage isn't it? Straight uphill if I recall. I don't think my knees will handle that one anymore.

Yup. The BigP is a Big Pig. Straight up? No, I think it levels off for about 2 metres somewhere in the middle. Personally, I'm leaning more towards Ralph Bice myself.
