We are now making quilt liners out of ARGON 67 taffeta with sewn foot box. Argon 67 is buttery soft feel and it helps keep your sweat and grime out of your downy goodness. It also will work for those summer nights that it is too warm for a down quilt but you still want something on you. It also works as a quilt over cover to help keep dew and fog off your top quilt. It weighs less than 3 ounces and packs down into its own pocket.

We are releasing these at $50 but they will be $55 regularly. I used one this weekend and it was all I needed for a 62 degree night.

Great idea Dutch! I always used a coolmax liner when tent camping. For some reason I just stopped when switching to hammocks.

Does this have much water resistance to it? How well does it breath?

It breaths very well and will resist splash because it has a quality DWR. It is the same fabric many of our vendors are using for inside layer of their quilts.

It should be treated like any other high tech synthetic fabric. Gentle wash, cold water, and hang dry or low heat. I like to use woollite for my synthetics.

I love the idea. Simple yet very handy. Even my 2.5oz climashield quilt is too hot during some of our warmer summer nights, but I often want something to take the slight chill off overnight. Think this would work great for these cases.

It's funny because I have just been looking for a liner this week. I use a cotton one in the hammock this weekend because it was so hot outside but would like to have one that would work in cooler weather also.
