    Garden Treasuresk stand

Anyone have any experience with the Garden Treasures hammock stand from Lowe's? I don't have any decent trees in my yard and would like a place to try out my quilts/tarps ect. before I head into the woods with them. I know it's designed for a spreader bar style hammock but I was hoping I could make it work for my gathered end camping hammocks.

I don't see why it wouldn't work, I followed the link and also read the reviews, all seemed good except a couple that said hardware was missing and one had to make 'adjustments' to sturdy it up some. I just built a turtledog stand myself and with all the materials purchased i was in just under $35 and an hour or so of work. FWIW, I bought 3 2x4's and ripped them in half instead of buying 6 2x2's by my math it was cheaper that way. Good luck in either way you decide to go!!

Welcome, I really like the one I made. It probably won't be as good to leave outside 24/7, but I like that it's collapsable so I can use it inside or outside.
