Your pad is 20" wide, right? Get some of the 24" bubble wrap and put that below the pad. Then, don't zip up your bag. You don't really get that much from the bag being zipped up, and it makes it very hard to vent as needed. Just zip it a third to create a foot box. Sounds like you should be fine then into the 40s. Low 40s and below, you may want a double layer of bubble pad, and something up top. Do they have the Costco quilts online? Edit: just saw they do have them online. Its a thin quilt, but would be pretty warm placed inside your bag.

Thanks everyone. I'll do a trip report when I return, just so ya'll know I'm not a popsicle in a nylon wrapper, for the bears.

Forgot to mention my trip changed and I will be in the mountains. So we just might see freezing weather. Im really excited to hang in the cold.
