It's not ultralight but I have had good luck with a KNT16 (Kelty Noah's Tarp 16x16) covering 2 hammocks. I don't have any pics but we used 2 parallel ridgelines under the tarp about 3 feet apart About 6 foot off of the ground. Since we positioned the tarp square (16foot ridgeline) we still had about 6 and half feet hanging on each side. Although there are no actual doors, the "extra largeness" allows you to pull the head and foot end in for plenty of protection. Like all hanging, it is very dependent on the trees available. Good luck.

I considered the KNT16 when I was tarp shopping. I was concerned that it would limit my site/tree selection too much because of the space needed to hang it. Even with the KNT12 I have to have two trees pretty far apart and not much growth around them to get it stretched out.

It would be a cool tarp to have in a base-camping scenario where you had plenty of space to hang it.

That is exactly why I bought it and it's perfect for base or car camping. It is super bombproof.
