Snakeskin for Kelty Noah 12 - Recommendations
Just getting started to hammock camping... like others, already have a Noah 12 tarp, so will start there and add gear as I gain experience and stretch out the expenditures.
For those of you that are snakeskin fans for your tarp, considering the Noah 12 is a big tarp, what SnakeSkins do you recommend for the Noah 12?

I use a loofah also. Seems to be holding up. I spent 30 cents extra for the premium one. lol
Leaning towards ordering the 12' w/ pockets version from Simply Light.

You guys that use the loofahs, do you use them specifically for the Kelty Noah's 12' tarp?
I would ping Mountaingoat and she will get you set up. Im sure SLD will also do a great job.
Also, i have heard that the Hennessy XL tarp skins work great for the Noah 12. They sell them at REI also if you need them quick.

The word hammockable (Meaning: two trees that are the perfect distance apart between which a hammock can be hung) is not in the dictionary, but it should be.
I've got the HH ones one my YO Walkabout and wasn't sure they would be big enough. Granted i didn't test it, but had read about using a lofah somewhere, prolly here, and figured what the heck. It was a buck at wally world.... Seems to work well thus far. Although i've only had the tarp a week. So no real testing has been completed.

DIY!!
The legs out of a pair of long legged nylon windproof pants until you make up your mind.
I've used pant legs from 12oz canvas for gun cases , 511 tactical pants fishing rod cases and windproof running pants for gaiters and gear bags.
