Did you make it through okay? Our power was out until about 1.5 hours ago but no damage to anything.

I might come out for the Torreya State Park hang I always been wanting to go check this place out. Depends on when we are moving. We are post to be closing on the 15th. So going to be close . Have to play it be ear.

im here to tell you guys, if you haven't experienced the FISH BOWL known as the "The Challenge... omg... Torreya is no Joke....They say that this is the hardest hike in FL and i truly believe it.

You literally go up and down for miles inside of these things we ended up calling fishbowls.

Is anyone planning this trip yet, are you doing the actual Full Service Park Sites, Primitives, or the Boy scout area ?

I'm going to post an official planning thread this weekend. We'll likely get a primitive spot on the regular trail for two nights, and do a day hike of the whole 14 mile figure 8 on the second day. Those who don't want to do the hike can just hang out at camp if they want, or just hike the easier, non-Challenge trail.

Made it through with no damage - was out of power for about 100 hours. Looking forward to getting out and camping on purpose (living without power on my own accord will be nice for a change)

Start a new weekend hang and call it the Hurricane Practice Hang. Make it go national and call it the Emergency Practice Hang.
