    hello from Washington State!

    Hi everyone!

Ok so, I'm still pretty new at this (everyone is to a point!) And I'm still trying to figure out what kind of hammock and all that stuff to get. Any recommendations that aren't toooooo expensive to start out with that come in a complete package (straps, hammock, ropes, ect)? I camp all seasons (I live up near Mt St Helens) and plan on camping through this fall/winter too.

I've also heard good stuff about how sleeping in a hammovk full time was good for your back, health, ect. I'm a pretty big girl (around 280ish) and I'm 5'8" if that helps.

Anyways I don't wanna bore anybody so I'll cut this short. Thanks for having me!

Hello and welcome to the forums from Marietta GA.

My wife and I camp and hike, and we have a blog you might find interesting. The link is in my signature.

Any of the vendors you find here on the forum would be happy to help you with an appropriate hammock, just pick one and give them a shout!

    Happy hanging!
