    I've also been known to slip my sit pad inside my hunting jacket, the last hour or so of daylight, if I start to get a little chilly. Lower back, right around the kidneys, instant warm up.

    I used some spare reflectix to ling the inside of a DIY food dryer. I used a heat lamp with a dimmer switch to control the heat and computer fans to circulate the air. It works great, but I use it in cooler months. A fan over a rack in my sweltering garage dries food better than anything I've run into yet.
