    Hello from NE Oregon

Thanks for letting me join the group, looking forward to learning a thing or two. I spend many nights in the woods hunting, fishing and scouting and find in my 55th year that the ground is getting harder. My nights are spent in mixed zones from high desert to alpine, 5000 ft to 9000 ft. So with the desert and alpine lacking hang points, I was looking at the Mark 2 hammock/bivouac by Clark with the Big Agnes sleep system. Would appreciate any feedback.

lol. After a 3 night back country hunt with some friends , my first hammock hang , the temp was low 30s at night no under quilt or pad. I may have complained about my frozen backside too much. thus the nick name .

Lucky you to live in such a nice hiking/hanging area. That selection should work great given the lack of hanging at times.

Yes Very lucky to live where I do. A view of the wallowa's fills my front windows, just 20 min to a trail head.
