One of the 10 year old nephews "found out" about the dragon scale hammocks. Pretty sure straps with flames, like a fire breathing dragon, would be a smash hit with them.
Also, everyone w/ hammocks in bright colors might be digging it.
I'm thinking this situation/development is a GO GO GO !!!

Does it have to be a batch run or can you print individual?
I am thinking logos or names etc. Is it colour printed or woven?
At the moment black is just fine for me, would have to see the size of interest to see if its worth it ?

Tacblades
How about ruler measurements? Useful for determining how wide a tree is, etc.
No timetable, but if there's enough interest I could start working on this next week. Assuming we develop the infrastructure for custom art, you could certainly have webbing with your name on it.
Think of something like the online t-shirt companies where you drag and drop text, upload images, etc and see the preview on the screen of what it will look like printed on the shirt. That same thing, but for straps or anything else is quite possible.
The most straightforward approach would be keeping stock on select patterns like we currently have with the fabric. The really cool approach would be allowing you to upload art and have it printed just for you on the webbing.
We are already doing some custom runs for vendors and hammock groups. Offering the same custom stuff for individuals is where we're headed, but it takes a lot more to make that happen and run smoothly. Working on it though.
On the printed webbing, we'll also have to retool and create a separate process. Just trying to gauge interest before deciding whether to pull the trigger.
The ink is sublimated and bonded to the base yarn itself, so it won't rub off. Not like a traditional screen print topical coating.
===> Okay, this is getting just plain COOL! Price point is about right too. Me, Im a Camo guy- actually truly stealth camp. You could even print knots, Morse Code, Rescue Signals, etc, and pick-up the Bushcraft Community too! Great Stuff!

Any more action on this venture? The holidays are nearly upon us and straps make excellent stocking stuffers!
