    Wok-wok-wookie

People with Wookie. Question I have: will wook wook on other gathered ends? Or does it only wook for the BB?

I think it depends on how closely the dimensions of those "other gatherered ends" match with the dimensions of Warbonnet's BB (and/or XLC) hammocks.

It needs to be within an inch or so of the dimensions , and have a similar sweet spot

I think that with a little creativity you can make it work. I made the regular wookie work on an XLC hammock.
What I did was add the extra rubber band that comes with to the other end and then used some soft shackles on both ends to extend it it 8" or so.
The stretch from both rubber bands made it work just fine. I think the idea is brilliant and yea you should be able to modify it no problem.

If modding, just make aure there is enough tension...if its not pulled tight enough there might be loss of efficiency.

Yea, its that fine balance between loading it to much and no tension at all
