Amazing how smart dogs can be, I have similar situation, but he thinks no matter how good I say his place is, that beside me is even better!
Easy enough to try, a small tablecloth, and I can start training.

Beautifully executed! I've been wanting to hammock train my dog, but she's just not feeling is yet... maybe someday. Great work and photos.
    Good luck,

What a fantastic project and kudos to you for your positive training approach. Your workmanship on the dog hammock looks superb! I bet there would be a pretty nice market for these, especially for slightly larger dogs like yours.
I'm not lost. I'm just exploring.

That's all kinds of awesome. The only problem will be when your pooch is all comfy in his hammock, bug net all zipped up and then SQUIRREL!!!!!!

I have no words for how incredible this is. If I wasn't a DIYer myself, I'd want to buy one lol.

Thanks for the feedback! I just got back from a short trip to George H Crosby Manitou State Park and couldn't be happier with the results of the dog hammock. My little buddy was comfy, warm and secure even in rain. He's learning to get in and out of the hammock gracefully. Awesome to see him safe and sound in his own setup that he hauled in on his own.
