2016 MI FALL HANG & CHILI FESTIVAL OCT 7, 8, & 9 2016

Hey there. I'm relatively new to hammocking, and have never been to one of these events before. I live relatively close, but may or may not have the ability to overnight because I've got a pretty busy schedule this fall.

If I wanted to pop by and introduce myself to folks, maybe have a meal and nerd out about hammocks for a while, when would be the best time to do so? What food should I bring to share?

Also, can I bring my dog? She's an old lady and super mellow and sweet.

You and your dog are more than welcome to come and nerd out about hammocks. Just follow the park rules about dogs and its all good! There are usually kids and other dogs around as well, just so you know what fido is getting into.

Looking forward to meeting you...you should definitely buy a few raffle tickets and stick around for that....it will be well worth it!!!!

Hang Logo is on back of shirt, shirts available in several styles and sizes. The more ordered the better the price, currently $15 a shirt based on 24 ordered. These will be delivered to the event.

Awesome!!! Good work Paul. Raffle tickets will be the same as last year...1 for $5, 5 for $20. They will be for sale from Friday when I get there, until right before the raffle. My wife and I will be selling them. Just look for the good looking couple with the big wad of cash....

I’m in, will there Friday afternoon and leave Saturday afternoon. Have a photo shoot Saturday night will be my first group hang. Will sign up too.

I attended 2 years ago and had a lot of fun! Will be bringing my teen granddaughters and possibly 1 or 2 more guests. Will sign up on the spread sheets on my home computer. (I'm at work on my break at the moment.
