Hey guys, I just picked up a 15-91 in good working condition, (I think.) It came without a book or any bits. Where do you get parts for your Singer machines?
This is just as I got it home and plugged it in. Everything seems to work. Potted motor, knee pedal. AF 213412. Know what year that is?

Ebay has all kinds of vintage Singer stuff. You might be able to find a manual online. You can search the serial number for an approximate date (within several years) of manufacture.

A couple of months ago I picked up a Bernina 930 that was just over in Bozeman for $250 shipped (an ebay BIN) to replace the Pfaff 360. They offered returns and since BZN is close I figured it was worth testing out. I have sewn a couple of experimental hammocks this spring and I'm really please with this machine.

That's a great price for a decent machine. Bernina sold it as 'semi-industrial'. Very rare to find one for less than $650 over here in Europe. I'm using a Bernina Activa 210 which was a low priced (for Bernina) model when it came out and it does everything I need really well. Though if I found a 930 for $250 I would have mine up for sale very quickly!

I'm a vintage Singer sewing machine fanatic, so I'll try to restrain myself from an endless stream of advice.
There is a free owner's manual, and an adjuster's manual, available from https://www.manualslib.com/
There are several places online where I get parts, https://www.vintagesingerparts.com/
    is one.
I would recommend a good cleaning and oiling of your machine. There are lots of YT videos. These do last forever; yours is working well (yay), but often I find if a machine is "broken", it just needs to be cleaned and oiled.

And my first prototype "gear reduction" unit. It's gotten a bit cleaner now. It functions fine, but it's not a slick setup like I want.
